The winter barley variety Zimur is characterized as a winter-hardy and high-yielding crop used for feed purposes. The plant is adapted to the climatic conditions of the Krasnodar Territory and is intended for winter sowing.

The variety possesses resistance to diseases, including dwarf leaf rust and net blotch. In addition to commercial cultivation, the variety is used in breeding work as a parental form for developing new high-yielding and immune varieties.
