The plant forms a dense mound 35–40 cm high and up to 90 cm wide. The leaves have a heart-shaped, slightly cupped form with a rugose surface and a waxy bloom that maintains an intense blue shade throughout the season.

Flowering occurs from mid-July to August, when lavender flowers appear on upright scapes. The variety possesses high winter hardiness in USDA zones 3–9 and is well-suited for creating borders, mass plantings, or use as an accent plant in shady gardens.
