The interspecific hybrid is intended to increase the endurance of cultivated tomatoes in intensive farming conditions. The use of this rootstock promotes better water and nutrient uptake, and also increases plant adaptation to stress factors, including temperature fluctuations.

A key characteristic of the hybrid is high resistance to nematodes, which allows the grafted crop to be protected from soil-borne diseases. Characteristics of plant height and maturity group do not apply to this rootstock, as it is used exclusively to create the root system of a grafted plant.
