Variety description

10 August 2026

The hybrid is an interspecific combination of Solanum lycopersicum L. and S. habrochaites S. Knapp & D.M. Spooner. Its use is aimed at increasing the growth vigor, productivity, and adaptability of grafted plants to environmental stress factors. It is characterized by a strong root system.

The rootstock has high resistance (HR) to Fusarium wilt (races 1, 2, 3), Verticillium wilt (Va, Vd), and root-knot nematodes (Ma, Mi, Mj). It exhibits intermediate resistance (IR) to Tomato mosaic virus and Tomato spotted wilt virus. The use of the hybrid does not have a negative impact on the physicochemical characteristics of the scion fruits.

Enpower is intended for professional greenhouse production using grafting technology. When working with this hybrid, adherence to agricultural practices is required, including the sowing dates of the rootstock relative to the scion. It is not recommended to use it for grafting varieties that lack their own resistance to Tomato mosaic virus.
