The Estamino F1 rootstock is characterized as generative, providing a balance between the vegetative development and fruiting of the scion. The plant has medium vigor, which allows for effective management of the habit of grafted varieties.

The variety possesses high resistance (HR) to tomato mosaic virus (ToMV: 0-2), leaf mold (Ff: A-E), verticillium wilt (Va: 0, Vd: 0), fusarium wilt (Fol: 0-2), and fusarium crown and root rot (For). It also has intermediate resistance (IR) to tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) and root-knot nematodes (Ma, Mi, Mj).

Estamino F1 is not intended for the production of edible fruits; its economic value is limited to use as a root system for grafting.
