The hybrid is a combination of Solanum lycopersicum and Solanum habrochaites. Its root system is distinguished by a balance between primary and secondary roots, as well as root hairs, which ensures adaptation to various soil types, including soilless cultures.
The plant has a medium to high level of growth vigor and helps control scion development. The rootstock is resistant to Fusarium wilt (races 0–1), Fusarium root rot, Verticillium wilt, Tobacco mosaic virus, and root-knot nematodes.
The use of this hybrid contributes to increased resistance to lodging, soil salinity, and unfavorable temperature regimes. By improving the nutrition of the grafted plant, the rootstock contributes to an increase in fruit size without reducing their quality characteristics.
