The hybrid is a vigorous rootstock possessing high resistance to soil-borne pathogens, including fungal diseases and nematodes. Despite its intensive growth, the plant is characterized as well-manageable.

This rootstock does not provide protection against late blight. It was obtained by crossing Solanum lycopersicum and Solanum habrochaites species and is officially registered as a tomato rootstock.
