The hybrid was created by crossing a cultivated tomato with the wild species Solanum habrochaites. Its primary function is to increase the vigor of grafted plants and the resistance of the scion to adverse environmental factors.

The rootstock possesses high resistance to Fusarium wilt, Verticillium wilt, nematodes, and tomato mosaic virus. Its use contributes to improved root system development and a potential increase in yield.

Under production conditions, the hybrid is characterized by good germination and high graft take rates. It imparts medium vigor to grafted plants, ensuring survival under fluctuating environmental conditions.
