The variety belongs to the cherry tomato group and is characterized by a mid-season maturity. The fruits have a spherical shape and a weight of 10 to 25 g; the dry matter content is about 7.2 °Brix. The plant possesses good fruit density and is distinguished by a long shelf life.

The variety shows resistance to Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici (race 1). In scientific literature, it is often described as sensitive to drought, which is why it is frequently used as a scion in experiments evaluating the influence of rootstocks on drought tolerance. The variety is intended for fresh consumption.
