The plant forms a rounded shrub reaching about 1.5 meters in height and width at ten years of age, with a growth potential of up to 2 meters. The foliage is green, typical for this species. The vigorous, fast-growing variety is suitable for use in landscape design, including for heather gardens and border plantings.

Flowering is abundant and lasts from the end of July to September. The inflorescences are of the lacecap type: they are flat, with fertile flowers in the center and larger sterile flowers along the edges. The plant prefers shade or partial shade conditions. Like other representatives of the species, the variety can be susceptible to powdery mildew.
