The shrub is characterized by a dense, branched structure and upright shoots. The foliage is broad-oval, serrated, and dark green. The inflorescences are spherical in shape, with a diameter of 12 to 20 cm.

The flower color depends on the soil pH level: on acidic soils they turn blue, on alkaline and neutral soils — pink or lilac. The plant tolerates partial shade well and can be used in solitary and group plantings or container gardening.

The flowering period continues from June to October. The variety belongs to hardiness zone 6A (withstands temperatures down to -18 °C); in cold climates, it requires covering of flower buds for the winter.
