The inflorescences are spherical in shape and reach 15–20 cm in diameter. The semi-double flowers are 4.5–5 cm in size. The coloration depends on soil acidity: there are variations with blue-violet and pink-blue shades. The foliage is dark green, and the leaf size is 10–15 cm. The height of the plant is indicated in reference books as up to 4 meters, however, in cultivation, typical indicators are significantly lower.

The plant is used as a potted culture for interiors, as well as in landscape design for decorating terraces, balconies, and group plantings. Due to the durability of the flowers, the variety is used in floristry. The species is thermophilic, sensitive to frost, and requires covering for the winter period, as flowering occurs on the previous year's shoots.
