The variety belongs to the Wädenswil series, which has been in development since 1952. Genetically, it is a diploid variety. Its pedigree traces back to a lacecap ancestor obtained through multiple crosses.

The inflorescence type is saucer-shaped, consisting of fertile flowers in the center and large sterile flowers on the periphery. The variety was originally intended for the potted plant industry but is suitable for open field cultivation due to the strength of its stems.
