The plant is a deciduous shrub with a bushy, upright habit. The leaves have an elliptical or ovate shape with a serrated edge and are medium-green in color. The height of the bush usually varies from 1 to 1.5 meters, with a width comparable to its height.

The flowers form inflorescences, the color of which depends on soil acidity and aluminum content; in acidic soils (pH 4.0–4.5), the flowers turn blue. Flowering continues from June–July to September. The variety is moisture-loving, prefers semi-shaded locations, and requires acidic soils.

The plant is used for group plantings, as a specimen plant, and for container cultivation. It possesses standard winter hardiness for the species. Research shows that this variety exhibits resistance to leaf deformation during stress temperatures above 30°C.
