Variety description

The shrub reaches 90–120 cm in height and 60–90 cm in width. Inflorescences are globular, 25–30 cm in diameter. On acidic soils, the flowers have a deep blue hue; on neutral or slightly alkaline soils, they are lilac or pink. The flowering period lasts from July to September–October.

The variety features strong shoots that hold the inflorescences in an upright position. Winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zone 6b; when grown in temperate climates, covering or container cultivation is required. Under adverse conditions, susceptibility to powdery mildew and leaf spots is possible.
