Variety description

The plant is a compact shrub 100–125 cm in height and 50–100 cm in width. A distinctive feature of the variety is its strong dark-colored, almost black shoots, which contrast with the dark green foliage and inflorescences.
The large spherical inflorescences are light pink in color, which may acquire bluish shades on acidic soils. The variety blooms from June or July to September, exhibits disease resistance, and is suitable for container cultivation or landscape design.
