The variety belongs to the Japanese selection group Halo, also known as the Japanese Lady (Frau) Series. The plant forms mophead-type inflorescences, which have a spherical shape.

The key morphological feature is the presence of a picotee pattern: the petals have a bicolor coloration, where the center of the flower stands out against the background of a contrasting, usually lighter, shade of the edges.
