Variety description

The variety is of the lacecap type, with the inflorescence consisting of a combination of fertile and sterile flowers. The sepals of the sterile flowers are pale in color and do not overlap. A characteristic morphological feature is the dark red stems of the plant.

The color of the sepals does not change to blue in the presence of aluminum in the soil. The variety is used in interspecific hybridization research as genetically valuable material. The plant is intended for ornamental gardening, including use in garden pots and tubs.
