The plant is a deciduous spreading shrub, reaching a height and crown diameter of up to 2.2 m. The shoots are sturdy, well supporting large inflorescences. The leaves are dense, broadly obovate or elliptical, 10–20 cm long, bright green in color, often with a glossy sheen.

The inflorescences are globose, approximately 15 cm in diameter, consisting predominantly of sterile flowers 3.5–4.5 cm in diameter. The color changes during the flowering process: from greenish upon opening to light tones, including pale pink or blue/lilac depending on soil acidity. The variety grows vigorously and is suitable for use as cut flowers.
