The plant's inflorescences are flat, umbellate. The marginal sterile flowers have a pure white color and characteristic serrated petal edges. The small fertile flowers in the center of the inflorescence can vary from pink to lilac or bluish, acquiring a greenish hue upon fading. The foliage is deep green, oblong, with serrated edges.

The plant is a compact shrub with a height of 0.5 to 1.5 m. The variety blooms from June to September and is intended for solitary or group plantings, as well as for container cultivation. It prefers partial shade, wind-protected areas, and moist, nutrient-rich acidic soils.

The color of the fertile flowers depends on the acidity of the substrate: on acidic soils they turn blue, on neutral or alkaline soils — pink. The variety is considered winter-hardy, however, it requires protection from severe frosts and late spring frosts.
