The plant is a compact shrub with upright shoots and dark green, broadly ovate, serrated leaves. The large inflorescences are spherical in shape and resistant to weather conditions.

Flowering occurs from July to September. The color of the flowers depends on soil acidity: they are bright pink on neutral or alkaline soils and blue on acidic soils. As they age, greenish "lime" shades and a lilac border appear on the petals.

The variety possesses sturdy shoots, which allows it to be used as a cut flower crop in floristry, as well as for container cultivation and ornamental landscaping.
