The shrub is characterized by a compact habit and reaches a height of about 1.2 m. Leaves are large, 10–15 cm long, dark green in color. The inflorescences have the shape of a corymb consisting of single flowers 3.5–4 cm in diameter.

The plant adapts to various soil pH levels, including neutral, slightly acidic, and alkaline environments. It prefers well-drained, moist soils and growth in sun or partial shade. The variety is used in landscape design and as cut flower material.
