Variety description

The variety is a deciduous shrub 0.8–1.0 m in height and width (sometimes up to 1.5 m). Leaves are large, ovate, dark green with a serrated edge. Strong shoots bear large spherical inflorescences up to 25 cm in diameter. Flowering occurs on previous year's shoots and lasts from spring or summer until late autumn.

The color of the inflorescences changes sequentially: initially, the flowers are bright pink or pink-raspberry, then the petal edges become burgundy, and the center turns green. By the end of the season, the inflorescences acquire a predominantly greenish shade with pink or reddish tones.

The plant is moisture-loving, prefers partial shade and wind-protected areas with humus-rich, moist, and well-drained soil. The variety has frost resistance down to -15°C and requires covering in regions with severe winters. It is used in open field, containers, as well as for cutting and dry bouquets.
