Variety description

The plant is a deciduous shrub with a dense upright crown, reaching a height of 1.5 meters. Young shoots are green with dark brown speckles. The leaves are oval-lanceolate, coarsely serrated.

Inflorescences are globular, up to 20 cm in diameter. The color of the flowers varies from pale pink to light blue depending on soil acidity; cornflower-blue coloration is also described. Flowering is abundant and begins from the second ten-day period of June.

The variety is resistant to powdery mildew and shows weakly expressed daytime wilting of leaves. Flowering occurs mainly on the previous year's shoots, so in the event of severe frost in winter, flower buds may die.
