The variety forms a compact shrub about 1.2 meters high with broadly ovate green leaves with serrated edges. The inflorescences are large, spherical, consisting of flowers with light pink petals, which have characteristic fringed edges and often a creamy-white center.

Flower color depends on soil acidity and can take on bluish shades on acidic substrates. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and abundant flowering in the summer period. It prefers partial shade and moist, fertile soils.

The variety is used as an ornamental crop in open field and containers, suitable for cutting and drying. It is a deciduous plant with sturdy inflorescences.
