Variety description

The shrub is upright and branched, reaching a height and width of 0.8 to 1.5 m. The leaves are large, broadly oval, with serrated edges, and are dark or medium green.

The inflorescences are of the "mophead" type, blooming from July to October. The color of the inflorescences varies from blue or dark blue in acidic soil pH to pink in neutral or alkaline environments; greenish hues may appear during opening and fading.

The plant has moderate winter hardiness down to -18...-20°C, prefers semi-shaded locations, fertile moist soils, and tolerates lime poorly. It is used in single and group plantings, as well as for container cultivation.
