The plant is a dense-foliage shrub with a height of 80–100 cm in the open field and 40–60 cm when grown in containers. It has broad ovate serrated leaves of dark green color; young leaf blades often have a reddish or violet-bronze tint.

Large spherical inflorescences 15–30 cm in diameter bloom from July to September. The petal color is creamy-white with a distinct pink-red border along the edges, although on acidic soils the shades can shift toward blue or violet.

The variety belongs to hardiness zone 6 (down to -23°C), is thermophilic and requires winter covering to preserve flower buds. The bush has strong stems, holds its shape well and does not require staking; resistance to diseases and pests is assessed as medium.
