A deciduous shrub with a vigorous, compact, upright habit, reaching a height of 0.9 to 1.8 meters. The plant has large dark green foliage and forms spherical mophead-type inflorescences, which may take on a greenish tint by the end of summer.

The flowering period lasts from May or summer until October, and the variety exhibits remontancy in mild climates. The plant is hardy to USDA zone 5; even if the aerial part is damaged by frost, it recovers and blooms on current-year shoots.

Flower color depends on soil conditions: in acidic soil, they turn blue, and in neutral or slightly alkaline soil — pink or pinkish-mauve. The variety is suitable for borders, group plantings, use in cut flowers, and for creating dried bouquets.
