Hydrangea macrophylla variety «Seascape» is a deciduous, globose-shaped shrub that reaches a height of 2.00 to 2.50 m at maturity. The variety belongs to the category of old varieties and is characterized by good vigor.

The plant forms rounded mophead-type inflorescences. The inflorescence color is blue, provided the soil acidity is appropriate; however, due to the paleness of the shade, shaded or semi-shaded areas are preferable for planting. The flowering period lasts from July to October.

The variety possesses resistance to windy conditions and maritime climates. It is recommended for use in landscape design as hedges or for cultivation in containers.
