The shrub is characterized by a compact growth habit and upright stems that do not require growth regulators. The glossy, serrated leaves are dark green and turn a burgundy shade in cool weather.

The rounded inflorescences bloom for over six weeks. The flower color changes from deep pink upon opening to rich reddish tones as they age. The variety is intended for landscape design, border creation, and container gardening.
