Variety description

The variety is a heavily branched shrub reaching 1.2–1.5 m in height and width. It belongs to the “Teller” series, characterized by flat lace-cap inflorescences with white flowers. Flowering begins relatively late but can continue intermittently until the first frosts.

There is commercial confusion where both flat-flowered forms of the “Teller” series and hydrangeas with large globular inflorescences reaching 1–1.2 m in height, with flowers that turn pink toward autumn, may be sold under the name “Snow”. The plant prefers semi-shaded locations and well-drained humus soils; it does not tolerate waterlogging.
