The variety belongs to the Lacecap group and forms flat inflorescences with distinct fertile flowers in the center and large sterile flowers along the edges. The plant is a compact, vigorously growing shrub, reaching a height of 1.25 meters 10 years after planting. The foliage is dark green.

The flowering period lasts from July to September. The marginal flowers consist of 4–5 round sepals of a soft pink-lilac shade. The variety is considered winter hardy and is a sport (mutation) of the Hydrangea macrophylla variety «Magical Opal». The plant was selected for professional cultivation as cut flower material, but is also suitable for use in the garden and containers.
