Variety description

The variety belongs to the lacecap hydrangea group with flat corymbose inflorescences 15–20 cm in diameter. The plant forms a compact upright shrub 1.0 to 1.5 m tall in open field, while in container cultivation the shrub dimensions are 0.5–0.7 m.

Flowering is profuse, lasting from July to September. The flowers have a pure white color, which is considered stable and weakly dependent on the soil acidity level, although faint pink or bluish shades may sometimes appear in the center of the inflorescence. The variety is distinguished by sturdy shoots.

The plant has winter hardiness of zones 5–6, withstanding frosts down to -20...-23°C, therefore it needs covering in temperate climates. It is used for single and group plantings, creation of flower beds, and container gardening.
