Variety description

The deciduous shrub reaches 1.2–1.5 m in height and up to 1.0 m in width. The plant has medium-green ovate leaves with serrated margins. Large inflorescences with a diameter of 20–25 cm have a spherical or hemispherical shape and consist of numerous sterile flowers.

The flowering period lasts from June to September. The flower color varies from bright pink on alkaline soils to light blue on acidic ones. The variety is relatively resistant to weather conditions; it may be affected by powdery mildew, gray mold, and leaf spot.

The plant is used as a solitary plant, in group plantings, for creating hedges, and for cultivation in containers. Inflorescences are suitable for cutting and winter arrangements due to their ability to retain shape when dried.
