Variety description

Compact shrub, the height of the mature plant is from 1.00 to 1.25 m. Flowers are gathered in globular inflorescences of pink-red or cherry-red color; on acidic soils, the shade of the inflorescences can shift towards blue.

The flowering period lasts from June to September. The variety is relatively winter-hardy and is capable of withstanding temperature drops down to –18 °C. Due to its compact size, it is suitable for creating borders and growing in containers.
