The variety is a compact, dense, rounded shrub reaching a height of 0.6 to 1.5 meters. The leaves are dark green, broad-ovate in shape, and have serrated edges. A characteristic feature is the sturdy, almost black shoots, which make the plant resistant to lodging.

The inflorescences are corymbose or globose in shape; at the beginning of flowering, they have a pale green tint, which later turns pure white. The flowering period lasts from July to September. The plant belongs to USDA hardiness zone 5 and is suitable for group and solitary plantings, container cultivation, and cutting.
