The variety has a compact shrub form, reaching 80 cm in height and 90 cm in width 3–4 years after planting. It is recommended for creating dense plantings at a rate of 3 plants per 1 sq. m.
The plant is light-loving, prefers moist soils, and is capable of withstanding temperatures down to -30 °C. It is characterized by a long flowering period with a color change of the conical inflorescences.
