Variety description

The variety is a low-growing, slow-growing shrub 1.2–1.5 m in height with a loose crown shape. Young shoots have a color ranging from brownish-green to red, with stems prone to lodging.

Flowering begins in early July and continues until October, two weeks earlier than many other varieties. The medium-sized inflorescences consist primarily of sterile flowers, white upon opening and turning pink over time.

The plant possesses high winter hardiness and is adapted to USDA zones 3b–9b. There is evidence of the variety's susceptibility to spider mite and rust infestation.
