Variety description

The shrub is characterized by straight, sturdy reddish-brown shoots and dark green glossy ovate leaves with red petioles. The crown has a fan-shaped or vase-shaped form, the diameter of the bush is 2–3 meters.

The inflorescences are panicles 20–35 cm long, consisting of a mixture of large sterile and small fertile flowers. The plant blooms from July–August to October on current-year shoots; the flowers have a pleasant fragrance.

The variety belongs to hardiness zone 4 and withstands temperature drops down to -34°C. The plant is demanding of soil moisture, does not tolerate drought and soil compaction well, and is resistant to urban conditions, pests, and diseases.
