Variety description

The variety is a deciduous compact shrub 0.6 to 1.5 meters in height. Upon opening, the leaves are bright golden in color, turn green by mid-summer, and acquire reddish shades in autumn. The plant prefers partial shade and requires protection from direct midday sun to avoid leaf scorch.

The inflorescences are of the lacecap type, consisting of small fertile flowers in the center and large sterile ones at the edges. Flowering lasts from June to September, with the flowers changing shade depending on soil acidity. The variety belongs to USDA hardiness zones 5–9 and requires moderately moist, drained soil.
