The variety is a shrub about 120 cm tall. A characteristic feature is the large double inflorescences, which resemble an egg in shape at the beginning of flowering. During development, they form bicolored structures that can reach a size of more than 20 cm and eventually acquire a pink hue.

Flowering is late, continuing from August until frost, with bud development occurring more slowly than in many other species. The plant requires winter protection in cold climates or cultivation in containers. The variety is suitable for garden design, mixed borders, and cut flowers.
