Variety description

The shrub forms a dense crown with a height and width of 60–70 cm to 100–120 cm. The plant has ovate leaves with serrated edges and star-shaped flowers gathered in inflorescences 15–25 cm in diameter.

The flowering period lasts from June to September or October. The color of the inflorescences depends on conditions: in acidic soil they acquire eggplant or dark purple shades, and in neutral soil — pink or reddish-burgundy.

The winter hardiness of the variety corresponds to USDA zones 5–6. The plant has resistance to diseases and pests and is suitable for solitary and group plantings, use in decor, and cultivation in containers.
