The variety is a deciduous shrub with a slightly loose crown shape. The leaves have a grayish-olive-green hue, with the underside of the blade lighter than the upper side. The plant stems are colored in a saturated yellow-green.

The plant belongs to ornamental crops for gardening. The variety has an H5 winter hardiness rating on the RHS scale, which corresponds to tolerance to temperature drops down to -10…-15°C.
