The variety was developed within the framework of research projects on the breeding of medicinal plants. The primary purpose of the material is to standardize raw materials for pharmaceutical needs.

During testing, the variety was used as a test sample to assess resistance to infection by the fungus Colletotrichum cf. gloeosporioides, which causes plant wilting. In certain trial conditions, the variety demonstrated susceptibility to this disease.
