The cultivar is characterized by a well-branched and dense crown. Young leaves have a medium-green center with a bright yellow-green margin, which, as the plant matures, turns yellow against a dark-green leaf center. The surface of the leaf blades is glossy; the shape and size are typical for the species.
The plant is used in landscape design for creating hedges or as a garden element. When grown, the cultivar can form fully yellow shoots, which possess increased sensitivity to direct sunlight exposure.
