The variety is an evergreen plant with variegated foliage featuring a golden-yellow margin, identical to the parent variety 'Madame Briot'. As a female form, the shrub produces decorative red drupes that persist on the branches from autumn to spring.
The plant is intended exclusively for decorative landscaping. It is shade-tolerant, responds well to pruning, and possesses winter hardiness within USDA zones 6a–8b. Holly fruits are poisonous to humans and animals.
