The variety NCUIPOMNLC, known in horticulture as Midnight Lace, is an ornamental form of sweet potato rather than an agricultural variety for producing edible tubers. The plant possesses a creeping trailing habit, which makes it suitable for cultivation in pots and hanging baskets.
The plant's foliage has a dark color and a deeply dissected palmate-lobed shape. The variety was developed as part of breeding programs and is intended exclusively for decorative landscaping of balconies and other spaces.
