Variety description

The variety is a seedling of the Evangeline sweet potato. The tubers have an irregular shape, purple skin and flesh, the color of which is retained after cooking. The variety demonstrates moderate to low yield with excellent sprout production capacity.
The plant possesses complex resistance to Fusarium wilt, Fusarium root rot, soil rot, and southern root-knot nematode. Intermediate to high resistance to bacterial root rot and Rhizopus soft rot has also been noted.
