The variety is a mutant of the Hong Kong variety and belongs to the Dutch iris group. The plant forms dark purple flowers corresponding to color code 83A according to the KAVB classification.
The iris is intended for cultivation in gardens, containers, and rock gardens, as well as for use in the floral industry. Varieties of this group usually reach a height of about 55 cm and bloom in late spring or early summer, preferring sunny areas with well-drained soil.
