The plant forms dense clumps with narrow sword-shaped foliage of green or glaucous green color. Flowers 8–15 cm in diameter are colored in blue-violet or sky-blue shades; white and yellow marks are present on the outer perianth lobes.
Flowering of the variety occurs from late spring to early summer. The plant possesses high frost resistance, corresponding to USDA zones 3–4, and is resistant to lodging of flower stalks. The variety is suitable for individual and group plantings, decorating the banks of water bodies, and for cut flowers.
